HELLO WORLD...AND WELCOME TO MINE!!

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2010

Hey gang, Michael Queenstown here!

For those of you who read my blogs on dragqueendiaries.com, I thank you. If not, what are you waiting for?? And if you're also wondering "What the hell does this bozo need with his own website?" What the hell, the job market sucks out there right now, and so I seem to have some free time at the moment. I think we'll have some fun.

On This Day In History:

1965: Alan Freed (disk jockey who coined the term "rock 'n' roll") dies of Kidney Failure at the age of 43.

1965: The Miracles record "The Tracks Of My Tears".

1969: Elvis Presley records "In The Ghetto".

1973: Jerry Lee Lewis makes his first-ever appearance at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry.

1974: Stevie Wonder returns to performing (in London) five months after a car crash put him in a coma.
